Comparison

Gudvins vs Zoho CRM, for a property sales floor

Zoho is the default CRM in India for good reason — it is cheap, it is everywhere, and it does almost everything. The question is whether "almost everything" includes the way plots, floor rise and brokerage slabs actually work.

The short answer

Zoho CRM is the better buy if you need a general business suite and have someone to configure it. Gudvins is better if you sell property, want your whole floor on the system without counting seats, and would rather units and cost sheets came built in than be rebuilt as custom modules.

Side by side

  Gudvins Zoho CRM
What you pay ₹1,299/month up to 10 people, ₹2,199 up to 20. Free during early access. Per user, per month: ₹800 Standard, ₹1,400 Professional, ₹2,400 Enterprise (annual, before GST).
A 12-person sales floor ₹2,199/month, everyone included. About ₹16,800/month on Professional, ₹28,800 on Enterprise.
Unit inventory Built in: towers and plot blocks, per-unit size, price and status, who holds a unit and who sold it. Not a native concept. Usually built as custom modules, which are an Enterprise feature.
Cost sheet with PLC, floor rise, GST Built in: formula grid, prints to PDF, attaches to the won lead and the unit. Build it yourself with custom modules, or bolt on a third-party tool.
Channel partner brokerage Partner records with slabs and payable amounts. Model it with custom modules and workflow rules.
Setup effort Pick your modules, import a sheet, invite the team — an afternoon. Powerful but deep. Most Indian SMBs use a partner to configure it.
Breadth beyond CRM One product. Leads, inventory, cost sheets, partners, site visits. 45+ apps — Books, Desk, Projects, People. Zoho One bundles them at about ₹1,994/employee/month.
Where your data sits A separate Postgres database per workspace, AWS Mumbai. Zoho's own data centres; India region available. Shared multi-tenant architecture.
Choose Gudvins if…
  • You sell property and want units, cost sheets and brokerage slabs as real screens, not as fields you configure
  • You want every rep, junior included, on the CRM without the bill moving
  • You want to be working this week, without a partner or an implementation fee
  • You care that your data is hosted in India and walled off from other workspaces
Choose Zoho CRM if…
  • You need accounting, helpdesk, HR and marketing from one vendor — Zoho One is genuinely hard to beat on value
  • Your team is small (3 or fewer users fit the free tier) and property features aren't the point
  • You have someone who enjoys configuring a CRM properly, or budget for a Zoho partner
  • You need deep workflow enforcement like Blueprint, or the wider Zoho ecosystem's integrations

Moving from Zoho CRM

  1. In Zoho CRM, open Leads (or Contacts) and use Export to download a CSV.
  2. In Gudvins, go to Leads → Import and drop the file in.
  3. Drag your columns onto the CRM fields. Anything Zoho-specific that doesn't match can become a custom column in the same screen — nothing is lost.
  4. Pick phone or email as the duplicate check, then import. Existing records are skipped, not duplicated.
  5. Add your projects under Projects, then build your towers or plot blocks in Unit inventory.
  6. Invite the team under Employees and set who reports to whom.

Notes, tasks and activity history don't carry over from an export — only the records. If that history matters, keep the Zoho account read-only for a month while the new one fills up.

Most teams are working in Gudvins the same afternoon. If the import looks awkward, send us the file on WhatsApp and we'll map it with you.

Questions

Is Gudvins cheaper than Zoho CRM?
For a team, usually yes. Zoho Professional at ₹1,400 per user is ₹16,800 a month for twelve people; Gudvins is ₹2,199 for the same twelve. For one or two users Zoho's free tier is cheaper than anything we'd charge after early access.
Can Zoho CRM handle real estate inventory?
Yes, with work. You model towers and units as custom modules, which requires the Enterprise edition, and you build the cost sheet yourself. Gudvins ships those as screens because it only serves property teams.
Can I move my Zoho data to Gudvins?
Yes. Export leads or contacts to CSV from Zoho and import them in Gudvins, dragging your columns onto the matching fields. Duplicate phone numbers and emails are skipped.
Does Gudvins do accounting or helpdesk like Zoho?
No, and it isn't planned. If you want one vendor for books, support tickets and HR, Zoho One is the better answer. Gudvins does one job: the sales floor.
